PTI+ TransEner is a network that brings together research teams from various disciplines in collaboration with industry to develop knowledge to drive the energy transition. The platform seeks key technologies to shape a more affordable, reliable, competitive and sustainable energy system, both socially and environmentally. In a context of increasing scarcity of resources, growing energy needs and climate change, the transformation of the energy model is one of the main priorities to move towards a green, sustainable and resilient economy.

Objetives

Promote the development of key technologies in the energy cycle to achieve a more affordable, reliable, competitive and sustainable energy system, both socially and environmentally.

Integrate CSIC capabilities, technologies and knowledge to tackle projects with a high technological development and promote their rapid integration into the industrial sector.

Impact

Scientific: Increased knowledge of new materials and processes with application throughout the energy cycle (production, distribution, storage and use).

Technological: Availability of know-how, demonstrators and prototypes incorporating innovative technologies with a high level of development and great application potential.

Social: Contribution to the development of an affordable, reliable, sustainable and competitive energy system, in a context of increasing scarcity of resources, growing energy needs and climate change.
